President & FounderGib began his illustrious career in the construction trade in 1966 in his home town of Idaho Falls. He has extensive experience in every phase of building, from concrete to cabinet making to design. With Gib's leadership, oversight and tremendous knowledge we have been able to hand pick and train successful employees and subcontractors that will stay true to Gib's mission of building a successful, honest family business.
In his spare time, which his co-workers wish was much more extensive, Gib enjoys scuba diving, high-wire acrobatics, nuclear biology, and - most importantly - perfecting his recipe for roast breast of Hungarian Partridge with a Tempranillo reduction and smoked wild currant puree (his wife's favorite).

Vice PresidentBret started working in construction at the age of 6, sweeping up job sites for his father Gib. He stayed active in the field through college where he attended Boise State on a wrestling scholarship and earned a degree in accounting. Bret obtained his CPA license and worked in public accounting for 15 years, the last five of which he managed the local office of a national firm. In 2005, Bret decided to move out of public accounting and rejoin the family business. Bret has been intrumental in operating the company, focusing on sales and marketing while overseeing the Kitchen and Bath division.
In the quite plentiful moments he's not working, Bret cultivates rare African honeybees, hones his backgammon game ("Bring it on, suckahs!"), and catches up on his subscriptions to all the fashion magazines.

Project ManagerDanny has worked in the construction trade since his dad gave him a quarter an hour to pick up trash as a young boy. In 1996, Danny started work remodeling major hotel chains and left two years later to attend college at the University of Idaho. After college, Danny was hired by a large residential builder in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho as Director of Customer Service. After working with this large developer, he moved up as a General Superintendant, overseeing the construction of up to 40 houses at a time. Danny came work for Ogata Construction in November 2006. Today, Danny helps manage our projects from design to completion by working as a liason between our homeowners and subcontractors.
Danny, whose nickname is "Tiger," has recently begun spending his spare time trying to figure out how to change his nickname. All suggestions are most welcomed.

Brett R. Ogata
Project SupervisorBrett, fondly known as "Uncle Brett," has worked construction for almost 40 years. Uncle Brett began his career in 1971 with a 4-year apprenticeship in Phoenix, Arizona. After that he worked throughout the west, including in Alaska and California, where he served as a foreman for a new housing development framing crew. In 1991, Brett returned to Idaho to work with Ogata, and has been here since. In 2002 he earned his "Certified Remodeler" certification from the National Association of Certifed Remodelers. You will see Brett daily on your project overseeing its progress and answering any questions you may have.
Brett uses his leisure time to plan elaborate interstellar vacations and break in a pair of hunting boots he bought from a street vendor at Pike Place Market in 1983. If you hear a squeaky set of shoes coming your way, it's probably Brett.
