Our People

Danny Johnson

President

Danny has worked in the construction trade since his dad gave him a quarter an hour to pick up trash as a young boy. In 1996, Danny started work remodeling major hotel chains and left two years later to attend college at the University of Idaho. After college, Danny was hired by a large residential builder in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho as Director of Customer Service. After working with this large developer, he moved up as a General Superintendant, overseeing the construction of up to 40 houses at a time. Danny came work for Ogata Construction in November 2006. Today, Danny helps manage our projects from design to completion by working as a liason between our homeowners and subcontractors.
Danny, whose nickname is "Tiger," has recently begun spending his spare time trying to figure out how to change his nickname. All suggestions are most welcomed.

Brett R. Ogata

Vice President ~ Project Supervisor

Brett, fondly known as "Uncle Brett," has worked construction for almost 40 years. Uncle Brett began his career in 1971 with a 4-year apprenticeship in Phoenix, Arizona. After that he worked throughout the west, including in Alaska and California, where he served as a foreman for a new housing development framing crew. In 1991, Brett returned to Idaho to work with Ogata, and has been here since. In 2002 he earned his "Certified Remodeler" certification from the National Association of Certifed Remodelers. You will see Brett daily on your project overseeing its progress and answering any questions you may have.
Brett uses his leisure time to plan elaborate interstellar vacations and break in a pair of hunting boots he bought from a street vendor at Pike Place Market in 1983. If you hear a squeaky set of shoes coming your way, it's probably Brett.
